UGC Tuesday Ladies Golf

UGCTL History

The records of a ladies club at University Golf Course go back to 1932.  At that time, it was called the West Point Golf Club and located at the corner of Blanca and University Boulevard.  For those of you who have played the course, can you imagine starting your game on the present 8th hole!  In 1989, this building became the Golf Museum which houses many of the relics of that era.  1986 was the transition year from the old West Point Golf Club to the new University Golf Club.
(Joan Heaver, Historian 2020 and member since 1988)
